UVa students create Engineering Teaching Kits that aim to excite middle school students about careers in engineering and technology. Once a kit is developed, UVa engineering students enter a classroom and teach the kit under the supervision of a middle school teacher and a graduate student from the UVa Curry School of Education. Engineering students receive feedback, make necessary alterations to the kit, and package the kit for distribution to middle school educators.
