Children's Programs in Aboriginal Art Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection

This program is offered with each in- house exhibit and features a discussion of Aboriginal art and culture followed by an art project that encourages children to experiment with techniques used by Aboriginal artists.

Cine Con Clase Center for the Liberal Arts

Cine Con Clase is a Web-based film resource for K-12 teachers and students of Spanish. Exciting film sequences assist educators and help students learn Spanish language, culture, and history. Short-term activities, class-length activities, and long-term activities are available online. Activities are peer reviewed for quality and adherance to SOLs.

Comprised of thousands of manuscripts, rare books, maps, and archives, the collection preserves the physical artifacts of our cultural, literary, and historical landscape. Classes held in Special Collections strive to acquaint students with this landscape and to provide maps to help navigate the past.

Declaring Independence: Creating and Re-creating America's Document University of Virginia Library, Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library

This exhibit includes highlights of the most comprehensive collection of letters, documents, and early printings of the Declaration of Independence, including its first printing.
