Annual Community Cancer Screening Days The Cancer Center

In cooperation with local doctors, the UVa Health System offers free cancer screenings to the general public each year. Skin cancer screening takes place in May, and prostate cancer screening is offered in September. The "Every Woman's Life" program provides free breast and cervical cancer screening to women who qualify based on income and age.
