A distinguished artist, critic, or art
historian presents an annual lecture
on the arts at the University of
Virginia Art Museum.
The Gladys S. Blizzard Lecture Fund
was established in memory of the
University of Virginia Art Museum's
Founding Director of Education by
family and friends. Each year the
lectureship is awarded to a
distinguished artist, critic, or art
historian. Previous lecturers include
Agnes Denes; Hector Feliciano, Stuart
Cary Welch, Alan Shestack, and Dore
Ashton.
