This program matches impoverished
families, referred by the Salvation
Army, with community sponsors who
provide the families with food and
gift baskets.
By recruiting the help of both groups
and individuals from the University
and surrounding community, Madison
House "Holiday Sharing" volunteers
organize the exchange of over 100
packages filled with food and gifts
for families in need. Families are
referred to the program and screened
for eligibility by the Salvation Army.
